Fashion is not always about how much money you have, is the line that best defines my outfit today.
During the photo shoot for this article, I met a friend of mine. As we were talking about each other, she told me she really likes my skirt. I confessed that it is from a second hand store and that I made some minor changes. I shortened it a bit and lengthened the front slit.
But, looking more closely at myself, I realized that my entire outfit was a “made up kind of” as my grandmother would say. The shirt was also from a SH store and it cost only 1 euro, the sandals I have owned for about 4 years from ZARA but because they are my favourite and have been in all these years, the most worn shoes during the summer, I broke the strap around the ankle. Initially I made a tragedy out of this happening but later I turned it into an advantage. With a visit to the haberdashery I bought several narrow ribbons, of different fabrics on complementary colours, and now I adore these sandals even more than before.
Also during the same visit to the haberdashery, I also bought the satin ribbon that I attached it to the hat with the help of safety pins.
The earrings are hand made and I received them in gift from Maria which you can see on here. And I totally love them, because they are unique and bold coloured. They are practically a statement piece of jewellery. You can also see how I wore them on a different occasion here.
So, by drawing a line to those mentioned, we can all agree that fashion is not necessarily about money but about creativity and boldness. Tips: When you discover within your wardrobe, a piece of clothing you do not like, do not hesitate to change it, at the same time, be creative by not wearing them as they come on the hanger.”

RO: Fa-ti rai din ce ai! Moda nu este mereu despre cati bani ai, defineste cel mai bine tinuta mea de azi.
In timpul sedintei foto pentru acest articol m-am intalnit cu o prietena de a mea, si cum tot vorbeam noi despre una despre alta mi-a spus ca ii place foarte tare fusta mea. In replica i-am marturisit ca o am de la un magazin Second Hand si ca i-am facut mici modificari: am mai scurtat-o un pic si i-am mai lungit slitul din fata.
Insa, uitandu-ma mai atent la mine am realizat ca intreaga mea tinuta era o “inchipuiala” dupa cum ar zice bunica. Camasa o am tot de la un SH si a costat doar 5 RON, sandalele le am de vreo 4 ani de la ZARA dar, pentru ca sunt preferatele mele si au fost in toti acesti ani cele mai purtate incaltari pe timp de vara, mi s-a rupt bareta din jurul gleznei. Initial am facut o tragedie din aceasta intamplare insa, ulterior am transformat-o intr-un avantaj. Cu o vizita la mercerie mi-am achizitionat mai multe panglici inguste, din diferite materiale si culori complementare. Acum ador aceste sandale si mai mult ca inainte.
Tot in cadrul aceleiasi vizite la mercerie mi-am achizitioant si panglica din satin pe care am prins-o de palarie cu ajutorul unor ace de siguranta.

Deci, tragand linie la cele mentionate putem spune ca, moda nu este neaparat despre bani. Este insa despre creativitate si indrazneala. Dupa cum spunea si Iris Apfel, cea mai controversata si cool fashionista: “oamenii care au foarte multi bani nu se imbraca la fel de bine precum oamenii care trebuie sa faca si sa fie inventivi.”
Tips: Cand o piesa vestimentara nu va mai place nu ezitati sa o modificati, totodata, fiti creativi nu le purtati neaparat ghidindu-va la pozitia etichetei.
