EN: The Pomodoro Technique was founded by Francesco Cirillo to help us organize our time in a more efficient manner. Basically, with this technique, work time is divided into 25-minute intervals.

Because we always feel as if we run against the current, it would be more beneficial to learn to use the time in our favour, working in a smart manner without having to increase the workload.

To resume an activity from which it was interrupted, the brain needs about 30 minutes to retreat?

That is why interruptions are not for the benefit of anyone.

Whether we want to solve a work task, organize our study time or complete a home activity, it would be ideal to have no interruptions or to allow yourself to be interrupted.

What is the pomodoro technique?

1. You choose a task, project or activity;

2. You set the alarm in 25-minute sections, meanwhile you can concentrate exclusively on what you have to do without being distracted. If during those 25 minutes you remember something you need do, just write it down quickly on a sticky note to make sure you won’t forget, then immediately carry on your activity, but do not interrupt or abandon under any circumstance;

3. At the end of the 25 minutes, you will feel great about yourself, having the satisfaction of a job done and you can reward yourself with a short walk or coffee break for about 5 minutes. So, the brain will have the opportunity to relax and better assimilate ideas and information you have worked on;

4. It is recommended at every “4 pomodoros” to take a longer break, about 30 minutes. 4 pomodoro means you have performed a 25-minute session 4 times. The long break is necessary for you to feel energized and recharged.


The Pomodoro Technique is much broader and suggests not starting a new project until you have finished the first one. However, I have recurring activities as a result, I have adapted it to my needs, and I am basically trying to include in my list of daily activities a project, to which I dedicate 25 minutes of my time only.

RO: Tehnica “rosiei” a fost gandita de catre Francesco Cirillo pentru a ne ajuta sa ne organizam timpul intr-o maniera mai eficienta. Practic, cu ajutorul acestei tehnici, timpul de munca este divizat in intervale de 25 de minute.

Pentru ca mereu ne simtim ca si cum am alerga impotriva curentului ar fi mult mai benefic sa invatam sa folosim timpul in favoarea noastra, lucrand intr-o maniera inteligenta fara a fi necesar sa marim volumul de munca.

Pentru a relua o activitate de la care am fost intrerupti, creierul are nevoie de aproximativ 30 de minute pentru a se remonta?  

De aceea intreruperile nu sunt in avantajul nimanui.

Indiferent ca ne propunem sa rezolvam un task la servici, sa ne organizam timpul cu invatatul pentru un examen sau o activitate casnica ideal ar fi sa nu fim intrerupti sau sa nu permitem noi sa fim intrerupti.

In ce consta tehnica pomodoro?

  1. Iti alegi un task, proiect sau activitate
  2. Iti setezi alarma sa sune peste 25 de minute astfel incat, in cele 25 de minute sa te poti concentra exclusive pe ceea ce ai de facut fara a te lasa distras de nimic. Daca, in cele 25 de minute iti aduci aminte de ceva ce trebuie facut iti notezi repede pe o bucata de hartie pentru a te asigura ca nu uiti, dupa care, revi imediat la activitatea ta, insa, sub nici o forma nu intrerupi/ abandonezi.
  3. La finalul celor 25 de minute vei simti o mare satisfactie a lucrului dus pana la capat si te poti recompense cu o scurta pauza de plimbare sau cafea. Astfel, ii dau creierului ocazia nu doar sa se relaxeze dar sa si asimileze mai bine ideile si informatiile la care ai lucrat.
  4. Recomandat este ca la fiecare “4 rosii” adica, dupa ce ati efectuat cate o sesiune de 25 de minute de 4 ori, sa luati o pauza mai lunga, de circa 30 de minute. Va veti simti mult mai revigorat si incarcat de energie dupa o detasare mai prelungita.

Tehnica in sine este mult mai ampla si sugereaza sa nu trecem la un proiect nou pana nu l-am definitivat pe primul. Insa, eu ma confrunt cu activitati recurente drept urmare, eu am adaptat-o la nevoile mele si practic incerc sa introduc in lista mea de activitati zilnice cate un proiect caruia ii dedic doar 25 de minute.

Nota: Orice intreprindeti adresati-va mai intai intrebarea: “Care este lucrul cel mai rau care mi se poate intampla daca nu reusesc? Raspunsul este: “Simplu, nu reusesc!”. Si care este lucrul cel mai bun care se poate intampla:”Reusesc!”
